Kayaking in the Swimming Pool (6 weeks)

Run by Ardwhallan Outdoor Education Centre

These sessions are set out for young people who wish to learn how to kayak, how to rescue and be rescued and how to roll kayaks. All levels of ability are welcome and no previous kayak experience is necessary. The tuition you receive will be tailored to your needs and ability level.

The course takes place at Ballakermeen Swimming Pool, which gives us an ideal opportunity to cover water and boat confidence, capsizing and experimenting with rolling in a warm and controlled environment.

This course is ideal for anyone planning on attending any of our other Paddlesports courses, or those who have been before and would like to develop their skills further. The Course Leaders are well qualified and are experienced. Your safety is always paramount. The course cost will cover use of equipment.
